Normal adult elbow lateral and AP plain radiographs

Normal adult elbow lateral and AP plain radiographs
Above are shown a normal anterior-posterior plain radiograph (A) and lateral plain radiograph (B) of an adult elbow. On the lateral view, the elbow is usually flexed 90 degrees to minimize the appearance of the anterior and posterior fat pads. The dotted line in image B outlines the ulna coronoid process.
