MRI and intraoperative views of craniopharyngioma resection

Preoperative coronal (A) and sagittal (B) T1-weighted postcontrast MRI shows a large solid and cystic suprasellar mass depressing the pituitary gland, compressing the optic chiasm, and filling the third ventricle. Intraoperative endoscopic views following tumor removal are taken from beneath the optic chiasm (C) and from within the third ventricle (D). Postoperative coronal MRI confirms removal of suprasellar tumor from beneath the chiasm (E) and from within the third ventricle (F).
