  • Ureterocalicostomy – Ureteral implantation to the lower pole of kidney.
  • Psoas hitch – Ureteral implantation to the side of the bladder mobilized and anchored to the psoas tendon.
  • Boari flap – Ureteral implantation to a tubularized flap of the anterior bladder wall.
  • Transureteroureterostomy – Ureteral anastomosis to the side of the contralateral ureter.
  • Renal autotransplantation – Moving the kidney and injured ureter down to the iliac fossa and implant the ureter to the bladder.
  • Ureteral substitution – Use an intestinal conduit (ileum or appendix) as a graft to substitute for the missing ureter.
