How to use a vaginal medicine

To insert a vaginal medicine with an applicator:

(A) Place the medicine in the applicator.

(B) Find a comfortable position. You can stand with 1 foot on a stool or a tub. Or you can lie on your back with your knees bent and your legs slightly apart. You can put a few drops of water on the tip of the applicator, tablet, or suppository. This makes putting it in easier.

(C) Put the applicator into your vagina as far as it will comfortably go, and push the plunger until it stops. Then, take the applicator out of your vagina. If possible, lie down for a while to allow time for the medicine to dissolve and absorb.
