Delbet type IV hip fracture

Delbet type IV fracture. A 13-year-old male presents with trauma.

There is a fracture through the intertrochanteric region of the right proximal femur (arrow) with medial avulsion of the lesser trochanter (arrowhead). The right and left femoral acetabular joint spaces are preserved. No other fractures are noted in the pelvic bones.
