Tuberculosis skin test

For a TB skin test, you get a shot in your lower arm. Two or 3 days later, your doctor or nurse will look at the spot where you got the shot. They will check to see if there is a bump, and measure how big the bump is. Based on the size of the bump and your situation, the doctor or nurse can tell if your test is positive or negative.
