Chest radiograph (A) and chest CT (B) show marked oligemia and hyperlucency of the right lung involving mainly the right upper lobe (arrows). CT demonstrates (C) severe acute central PE in the right pulmonary artery and less extensive PE in the left interlobar and lingula arteries (arrowheads).
