Interictal discharge in an 18-year-old girl with a history of a single generalized tonic–clonic seizure and myoclonic seizures showing generalized polyspike and wave (A). The ictal electroencephalogram (EEG) demonstrating generalized polyspike-wave discharge, with bilateral symmetric limb jerks (B). This clinical history and EEG are most suggestive of juvenile myoclonic epilepsy.
