MRI of liver metastases from a neuroendocrine tumor
MRI of liver metastases from a neuroendocrine tumor
Dynamic postcontrast images (image A – arterial phase, image B – portal venous phase, image C – hepatobiliary phase) from a patient with small bowel neuroendocrine tumor metastatic to the liver utilizing a liver-specific contrast agent (metastasis indicated by arrow). The lesion is seen in all images, but the hepatobiliary phase image (C) shows the greatest lesion to liver contrast and allow very accurate tumor measurements from scan to scan.
