Right parietal convexity meningioma

Right parietal convexity meningioma
Noncontrast axial T1-weighted brain MRI (A) demonstrates a right parietal convexity meningioma that is isointense to the adjacent cortex. Postcontrast T1-weighted image (B) demonstrates homogeneous enhancement of the meningioma. Note the typical "dural tail" (arrows) and hyperostosis of the skull adjacent to the meningioma. T2-weighted axial brain MRI (C) demonstrates the slightly hyperintense meningioma with a thin cerebrospinal fluid cleft (arrowheads) between the tumor and the adjacent cortex. Adjacent hyperostosis (thick arrow) of the inner table of the skull is seen. Axial FLAIR image (D) demonstrates the hyperintense meningioma.
FLAIR: fluid-attenuated inversion recovery; MRI: magnetic resonance imaging.
