Endotracheal tube (ETT) introducer for glottis visualization

These images were taken in the same patient. On the left, the larynx is clearly visualized when using an endotracheal tube introducer to cannulate the trachea. On the right, the view of the larynx is obstructed by the endotracheal tube cuff. Lack of clear visualization can lead to inadvertent esophageal intubation.
