Anencephaly at 32 postmenstrual weeks of gestation

Anencephaly at 32 postmenstrual weeks of gestation
(A) Coronal view of the face. The eyes are prominent, and above them, no cranial vault or brain tissue is seen.
(B) Longitudinal view of the neck region and upper thoracic vertebrae showing the disrupted bony structures as well as some disorganized neural tissue.
(C) Transverse view. The typical U-shaped vertebrae with tissue protruding is evident, consistent with an open upper spina bifida, which is commonly seen with anencephaly.
