⅛ teaspoons salt provides approximately 300 mg or 11 mEq of sodium.

Note that these recommendations do not account for changes in salt metabolism associated with highly effective modulator therapy (HEMT) such as elexacaftor-tezacaftor-ivacaftor (ETI). Consultation with a dietitian with expertise in cystic fibrosis is recommended.

* Moderate temperature and humidity, no excessive sweating, regular bowel movements, no vomiting or diarrhea.
