Lack of restenosis with sirolimus stent

Lack of restenosis with sirolimus stent
Cumulative frequency of stenosis immediately after stenting and at six months in patients who received sirolimus-eluting stents and standard stents. At six months, restenosis, defined as luminal narrowing of 50 percent or more (dashed line), occurred in no patient with a sirolimus stent compared to 23 percent of those with standard stents. The percentage of stenosis at six months with sirolimus stents was essentially the same as that immediately after the procedure and in all cases was less than 35 percent.
