Progression of the tiobiofemoral angle* with age

Progression of the tiobiofemoral angle* with age
The results are based on 1480 measurements (clinical or radiographic) of the tibiofemoral angle of children at different ages. The standard deviation was ±8°.
* The tibiofemoral angle is the angle between the long axis of the femur and the long axis of the tibia. It can be measured clinically with a goniometer or radiographically. Positive values indicate varus angulation, and negative values indicate valgus angulation.
