Gastric acid secretion and Helicobacter pylori infection
Gastric acid secretion and Helicobacter pylori infection
Gastric acid secretion in response to stimulation with gastrin-releasing peptide in subjects of different Helicobacter pylori status. Stimulated acid output is increased in infected volunteers and, to a greater degree, in infected patients with duodenal ulcer (DU). This response returned to normal one year after eradication of H. pylori.
