Treatment strategy for Lambert-Eaton myasthenic syndrome

This algorithm is intended as a general guide to the treatment of LEMS. Sufficient benefit with treatment is achieved when the patient is satisfied with improvement in strength and function.

LEMS: Lambert-Eaton myasthenic syndrome; 3,4-DAP: 3,4-diaminopyridine; IVIG: intravenous immune globulin.
