A 77-year-old female patient with biopsy-proven 1.8 cm left lower lobe adenocarcinoma (stage IA NSCLC) who was not considered a surgical candidate due to chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and cardiac risk. Axial CT image one-year following RFA shows that the treated area (arrow) continues to decrease in size and now appears as a focal area of volume loss within the left lower lobe.
