Effects of silent ischemia suppression on cardiac event rate

Effects of silent ischemia suppression on cardiac event rate
After a one-year follow-up, the 97 patients who responded to bisoprolol (100 percent responders) had a significantly better event-free survival (death, nonfatal myocardial infarction, hospitalization for angina, need for revascularization) than the 186 patients who continued to have episodes of silent ischemia (non-100 percent responders) (p = 0.015).
%: percent.
