Retinoblastoma: Findings on dilated indirect ophthalmoscopic examination

Findings on dilated indirect ophthalmoscopic examination in 5 different children with retinoblastoma.
(1) Endophytic group C disease.
(2) Group D disease demonstrating intralesional vascularity.
(3) Exophytic group D disease demonstrating complete retinal detachment with subretinal seeding.
(4) Combined exophytic-endophytic retinoblastoma. Exophytic retinoblastoma has eroded through the overlying retina and into the vitreous cavity, giving the clinical appearance of a combined exophytic-endophytic lesion.
(5) Post-treatment examination showing a calcified tumor.
