Fatty proliferation of extrapleural fat after tuberculous pleurisy

Fatty proliferation of the extrapleural fat between the parietal pleura and the endothoracic fascia as a sequel of previous tuberculous pleurisy. CT shows right posterior pleural thickening with a subjacent fatty layer. This likely results from the restriction of the lung and pulling of the chest wall fat inward.
