Elevated serum CK-MB is associated with cardiac events after angioplasty

After percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty (PTCA), the six-month incidence of cardiac events including death, myocardial infarction (MI), or revascularization with bypass surgery (CABG) or repeat PTCA was directly associated with the serum CK-MB.
