Paddles and electrode pads designed for adults are recommended for children who weigh more than 10 kg (large circular paddles in picture). Of these, those 12 cm in diameter seem to be superior to those that are 8 cm in diameter. Infant paddles or pads are to be used for smaller infants weighing <10 kg (small circular paddles above).
