Right aortic arch LL

Right aortic arch LL

(A) Right aortic arch with aberrant left subclavian artery and left ligamentum arteriosum. Kommerell's diverticulum is the bulbous vascular structure giving rise to the left subclavian artery and ligamentum. The proximity of Kommerell's diverticulum to the trachea and esophagus is apparent.

(B) A computer-reconstructed image of a computed tomography angiogram viewed from posterior. The star represents the location of the trachea and esophagus (not shown in this projection). The Kommerell's diverticulum demonstrates a change in caliber as it continues as the aberrant left subclavian artery.
DK: diverticulum of Kommerell; RAA: right aortic arch; DAo: descending aorta.
