Oral contraceptive therapy lowers serum free testosterone concentrations in women with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS)

Normalization of the serum free testosterone concentrations in 7 women with PCOS after the initiation of therapy with Loestrin (estradiol 30 mcg and norethindrone acetate 1.5 mg). To convert serum free testosterone to pmol/L, multiple by 34.7.
