Four-chamber view fetal heart

Axial view of the fetal chest in the second trimester. The four-chamber view of the heart is demonstrated. The hyperechoic spine and ribs are shown. Anteriorly, the ventricles are seen and are of similar sizes. The atria are posterior and are similarly of comparable sizes. The atrioventricular valves are both demonstrated, with the right atrioventricular valve slightly more apically positioned.
