Anterior wall myocardial infarction

Four chamber view from a 2-D echocardiogram shows a large, extensive anterior wall infarction with a dilated left ventricle that is diffusely hypokinetic with regions of akinesis. The myocardium is thin and fails to thicken with systole. Additionally, there is right and left atrial enlargement.
