Penile length in newborns

Penile length in newborns
Stretched penile length of 63 normal premature and full-term male infants (closed circle). The mean length at full-term is 35 mm (3.5 cm), with the 2-standard deviation range from 28 to 42 mm (2.8 to 4.2 cm). The solid line approximates the mean values and the dashed lines the 2-standard deviation values. Superimposed are data for 2 small-for-gestational-age infants (open triangles), 7 large-for-gestational-age infants (closed triangles), and 4 twins (closed boxes), all of which are in the normal range.
