Apical 4 chamber echocardiogram showing right atrial thrombus
The apical four chamber view show a thrombus that was in transit from the lower extremities and temporarily became lodged in the right atrium (RA). Additionally, the right ventricle (RV) is enlarged, implying that other emboli have reached the pulmonary circulation, resulting in raised pulmonary vascular resistance.
