Among women who reported smoking >10 cigarettes daily, the percent of couples achieving pregnancy by 3.5 and 9.5 months was significantly decreased compared to couples where the female partner did not smoke. The subjects were women who were pregnant or recently delivered (sample size approximately 4035 women).
