Degenerative biceps tendon rupture

This 64-year-old man who takes warfarin chronically experienced a "spontaneous" rupture of the right long head of the biceps. Biceps tendon ruptures can be dramatic; most develop some degree of ecchymosis, although the bruising here is accentuated by anticoagulation.
