Typical atrial flutter

Electrocardiogram in type I counterclockwise typical atrial flutter. The biphasic flutter (F) waves are prominently negative (lead II) in counterclockwise typical flutter. The patient is on a beta-blocker which explains the predominant 4:1 conduction pattern.
