Autonomous thyroid nodule: Appearance on thyroid scintigraphy

Iodine 123 (123-I) thyroid scan demonstrating an autonomous ("hot") nodule with suppression of isotope uptake elsewhere. The total 24-hour isotope uptake was normal (12 percent).
