Methimazole dose in hyperthyroidism

The proportion of patients with hyperthyroidism who became euthyroid at two different doses of MMI. The euthyroid state was defined as normalization of the serum T4 and T3 concentrations. Both doses were equally effective; similar results (not shown) were achieved with 10 mg given three times daily.
