Clinical findings of a distal femoral fracture in a child
This six year old girl has physical findings of a distal femoral fracture after a motor vehicle collision including swelling and posterior displacement of the distal femur (red arrow) and ecchymosis of the popliteal fossa (white arrow). Physical examination also revealed absent peroneal nerve function and a cold, pulseless foot.
