Headlamp for ear foreign body removal

Use of a head lamp permits the use of both hands to brace and immobilize the head during removal of an external auditory canal foreign body that is near the tympanic membrane. A metal operating ear speculum is also used to direct light and to protect the lining of the ear canal during the procedure.
