Health characteristic Criteria
Cognition Able to follow 1-step commands
Oriented to person
Remember 1 of 3 items
Hemodynamic Mean arterial pressure 65 to 110 mmHg (resting systolic blood pressure 85 to 160 mmHg, and <200 mmHg with exertion)
Heart rate 40 to 130 beats per minute
Respiratory rate 5 to 40 breaths per minute
Oxygen saturation ≥88%, with or without supplemental O2 and at rest or with activity
Change in vital signs with activity <20%
Hematocrit >25%
No unstable angina (eg, change in ECG with activity)
Musculoskeletal stability Fracture/open wounds require explicit clinician guidance with regards to physical activity (eg, weightbearing status, orthoses/braces, etc)
Pain No acute exacerbation of pain during OT/PT
