Radiographs and CT of thoracic spinous process fractures

Lateral radiograph of the thoracolumbar spine, including full (A) and magnified (B) views, do not demonstrate evidence of injury. However, sagittal reconstruction (C) and axial (D) images from a CT show fractures through the spinous processes of T11 (arrowhead) and T12 (arrow). A right 11^th rib fracture (thick arrow) is also seen.
