Type I Type II Type III
TV atresia with normally related great arteries:
  • Type a – Intact ventricular septum with pulmonary atresia
  • Type b – Small VSD with pulmonary stenosis/hypoplasia
  • Type c – Large VSD without pulmonary stenosis
TV atresia with D-transposition of great arteries:
  • Type a – VSD with pulmonary atresia
  • Type b – VSD with pulmonary stenosis/hypoplasia
  • Type c – VSD without pulmonary stenosis
TV atresia with malposition of the great arteries other than D-transposition of the great arteries, associated complex lesions (eg, truncus arteriosus, atrioventricular septal defects, double-outlet right ventricle)
