Transcatheter pulmonary valve implantation of Sapien valve

Lateral views of angiogram before (left panel) and after (right panel) prestenting and TPVI in a 34-year-old male. The patient had a stenotic pulmonary valve that had been repaired using a transvalvular patch at the age of 23 years. Because of the large right ventricular outflow tract, prestenting was performed with an Andramed XXL Stent dilated to a diameter of 28 mm. An Edwards SAPIEN Pulmonic Transcatheter Heart Valve dilated to 29 mm was used for TPVI.
