This photograph shows the skin test results of a patient with immediate insulin hypersensitivity. The top test site is the negative control (sodium chloride), which shows no wheal. Below that is the histamine positive control and five different insulins, all of which are positive, with central wheals (white arrows) within areas of erythema.
