Echo tissue Doppler myocardial performance index (MPI) calculation

Calculation of right ventricular myocardial performance index (MPI) pulsed tissue Doppler. The tricuspid (valve) closure opening time (TCO) encompasses isovolumic contraction time, ejection time (ET), and isovolumic relaxation time.

MPI = (TCO - ET)/ET.
