In the United States in 2023, the rate of reported chlamydia was higher among women compared with men. Among women, those aged 20 to 24 years had the highest rate of reported cases of chlamydia, followed by women aged 15 to 19 years and women aged 25 to 29 years. Among men, those aged 20 to 24 years also had the highest rate of reported cases of chlamydia, followed by men aged 25 to 29 years and men aged 15 to 19 years.
