Contrast-enhanced ultrasound of a hepatic adenoma

Hepatic adenomas are characterized by an arterial vascular supply, with contrast enhancement in the arterial phase progressing from the edge of the lesion (A) to the center (B). In the portal-venous and delayed phases, hepatic adenomas are iso- or slightly hypoenhancing.
