(A) A surgical specimen of end-stage hydronephrosis shows extreme thinning of the renal parenchyma (arrow).
(B) A CT scan reconstructed in the coronal plane and shows end-stage hydronephrosis of the lower moiety of a left-sided duplex system (arrowhead). The upper moiety (arrow) shows no hydronephrosis and normal contrast excretion.
(C) A CT scan reconstructed in the coronal plane and shows end-stage hydronephrosis with a thin rim of parenchyma (arrowhead) caused by a left-sided bladder carcinoma (arrow).
