Etoposide, methotrexate, plus dactinomycin followed by etoposide and cisplatin (EMA-EP) for gestational trophoblastic neoplasia (GTN)
Time Treatment
Day 1

Etoposide 100 mg/m2 by IV infusion in 200 mL of normal saline over 30 minutes

Dactinomycin 0.5 mg IV push

Methotrexate 100 mg/m2 IV bolus followed by

Methotrexate 200 mg/m2 by IV infusion over 12 hours
Day 2

Etoposide 100 mg/m2 by IV infusion in 200 mL of normal saline over 30 minutes

Dactinomycin 0.5 mg IV push

Leucovorin* 15 mg IM or orally every 12 hours for four doses beginning 24 hours after starting methotrexate
Day 8

Cisplatin 60 mg/m2 IV

Etoposide 100 mg/m2 by IV infusion in 200 mL of normal saline over 30 minutes
