Although Omidenepag isopropyl drops elicited stable intraocular pressure reductions in NTG patients, transient changes in refraction and corneal endothelial cells, significant increase of central corneal thickness, and corneal erosion should be considered.

Three hundred sixty degrees selective laser trabeculoplasty (SLT) produces greater intraocular pressure (IOP) lowering effects with no changes in safety profile compared with 180 degrees SLT.

The risk of primary angle closure disease (PACD) rises rapidly with greater hyperopia while remaining relatively low for all degrees of myopia. Refractive error (RE) is useful for angle closure risk stratification in the absence of biometric data.

Glaucoma patients exhibit worse indices of sleep function by both objective and subjective metrics compared with controls. Purpose: The purpose of this study is to characterize the sleep parameters and physical activity levels of glaucoma patients compared with controls.

The offline artificial intelligence (AI) on a smartphone-based fundus camera shows good agreement and correlation with the vertical cup-to-disc ratio (vCDR) from the spectral-domain optical coherence tomography (SD-OCT) and manual grading by experts.

We provide a free-to-use, open-source algorithm to quantify macular hypotony based on optical coherence tomography (OCT) images. This numerical approach calculates a metric that measures the deviations of Bruch's membrane from a smooth ideal retinal layer. Purpose: Hypotony maculopathy is a recurrent complication of glaucoma surgical interventions in which extremely low intraocular pressure triggers changes in the shape of retinal layers.

In both pre-perimetric and early perimetric glaucoma, the diagnostic agreements between optic disk, retinal nerve fiber layer, and ganglion cell-inner plexiform layer parameters based on Cirrus HD-OCT normative database classification were mostly fair, suggesting that abnormal classification in 1 anatomic area may suffice for the diagnosis of glaucoma in early stages.
