Ultrasound diagnosis of celiac artery compression syndrome

Doppler spectral images of the proximal celiac trunk.
(A) During expiration, PS and ED velocities are elevated (308 and 81 cm/second).
(B) With inspiration, PS and ED velocities decrease to normal values (135 and 46 cm/second).

PS: peak systolic; ED: end diastolic; RI: resistive index; S/D: systolic-to-diastolic ratio.
