Venous hypertension of hand due to arteriovenous fistula
A large pulsatile vein is seen and originates from the site of the arterial anastomosis. By occluding the midpoint of the vein and feeling for the portion with a pulse, one can demonstrate that blood flow in the vein is retrograde (dashed white arrow).
