Placental site trophoblastic tumor histology

Neoplastic intermediate trophoblasts of PSTT destructively infiltrate through smooth muscle (sm) fascicles of the myometrium. Unlike normal implantation site, the trophoblasts of PSTT are atypical and mitotically active (arrow).
